How Much Is It And What Are The Requirements?
Each application is $50, which covers the various reports we order (credit, eviction, criminal, etc) and is NON-REFUNDABLE. All applicants applying for a home must have a credit score over 650, with no recent past due payments or collection items, make 2x the rent in net HOUSEHOLD income (or approximately 3x gross), and can show 2x the rent in liquid savings (excluding retirement accounts, stocks, etc).


Who Has to Apply and What Documents are Needed?
Everyone over the age of 18 that will be living in the home must fill out a separate application. This includes adult children, friends, extended family, etc. Each application must include the past two months of FULL bank statements, past two months of pay stubs, a copy of a valid drivers license, and a completed landlord verification form from your current landlord (if applicable). The application will have a section where you can upload these documents directly to the application.


How Long Until I Hear Back?
Once California Realty Group receives all of the requested documents, it generally takes between 2-3 business days for us to get back to you. Please note that how quickly we can process your application depends on your ability to provide all of the information that we request. If we are missing any of the requested documents, your application may be declined.


What Can I Do If I Don’t Get Accepted
If you are not accepted by the owner of the property, and you meet the minimum application requirements, you may request to have your application re-directed to another property under our management. You application can be re-directed at no charge and stays valid for 30 days after you first submit your application. If you application is more than 30 days old, you may be asked to re-submit a new application with updated information.


How Much is the Security Deposit?
Each property’s security deposit can vary, however in general our security deposits are equal to one month’s rent plus $150. If the property accepts pets, you may also be asked to submit an additional $500 for a pet deposit. However please keep in mind that each property’s specific security deposit may vary.


Is the Property Pet-Friendly?
Many of our homes are pet friendly, and you can see if the homeowner will allow for pets by reading our property listing. Even if the property accepts pets, there may be breed, size, and number restrictions which is determined by the owner of the property. We typically do NOT allow for aggressive breeds.


Is A Fridge, Washer, Or Dryer Included?
The property listing will state if the home comes with a fridge, washer, and/or dryer in the description information.


Is The Property Still Available?
We updated our website multiple times per day, if you see the home listed for rent on our website then we are still accepting applications on the home.
